Light shade question

Hi there, I was looking for some advice about how to restore a light fitting in my house (please see pic). I think this is the original from when the house was built around 1910. The metal is very badly tarnished and I think the colour has bled from glass parts. Any advice greatly appreciated!

hello there. How about two wall sconces, one on either side of the mirror, and a roof light in the centre. I can't help with particular ones/ where to source them, but I think in this space, something rounded or square will work. You can also consider a light at the shower

I'm thinking about an extension with large south facing windows to a fantastic view. I'm already worried about sun damage to objects and our skin! Do window manufacturers have solutions to this or do I have to solve it after installation? Anti UV film sounds good, but will it make the light muddy, especially in an Irish winter, when sunlight is a commodity? Anyone have experience?
