Comments (4)Hi! I had a quick look through the Houzz pics (imaginatively, under 'beige wardrobes'!) and most seem to be shades of coffee, caramel etc to tone with the wardrobes. I've attached some of the pics. One included a blue as an accent, which looked lovely if you're feeling brave! Alternatively, is the an option for taking off one or two of the doors, so some storage was open? I appreciate that's not ideal when you've paid for new doors, but might be a way of breaking up the colour, which might make it easier for you to enjoy? Final alternative: photo magnets are available in quite cool little squares. You could use sepia tones and arty images and use that to break up the panels, if you really hate them. I would guess, though, that with some room tweaks and time, you'll feel happier with them! Fingers crossed :) Good luck xx...See MoreArrangement of L-shaped bedroom!
Comments (0)So I have just moved back home from college for a couple of months and I am in my old bedroom. It functions as my work space as well as for relaxing and obviously, sleep! As you can see from the pictures, all the furniture is placed in one corner of the room with a big empty space nearer the door. I won't be staying here for long and don't have much money to go out and buy new pieces but I'd like to rearrange the room so it's more balanced. I have a few pieces of furniture, and a single bed with built in wardrobes. The bedroom is awkwardly shaped and I am limited to how I can arrange my furniture. There is also a slanted roof to make things just a bit more awkward! Any tips you would have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys :)...See MoreTall ceilings and fussy wardrobe solutions
Comments (1)Moving in soon and want to revamp this north facing bedroom (see photo below) which has super high ceilings and a fussy built in wardrobe with too much detailing. Was thinking to paint the ceiling darker perhaps to the top of wardrobe right around the room and change knobs/paint wardrobe same as walls (something warm but neutral). Will ditch the curtains too! Thoughts or other ideas?!...See MoreUser
