Dormer exterior lacks kerb appeal
Comments (25)Hello egreevy, Okay, yes I see, it's a difficulty but maybe not impossible... Just whether you want to try to find out more about this.. Taking windows out to paint is a bigger job but it may still be possible.. ... So for the immediate.. Paint the front door (just the door) it might give a nice finish to have the side windows white.. Then you have a bit of contrast like your image above.. and add window boxes with lovely foliage or buxus.. it will work with the green you already have... I couldn't see as my screen was dimmed.. I think leaving all the ivy colour you have at present would be really nice.. (hence my suggestion of more green!! Also I wouldn't paint the pebble dash, to me it looks absolutely fine on the house itself.. Maybe the small boundary wall at the front and a bit of the garage.. Also a flat box hedge coming over the top of the boundary wall could be nice too.. It will be lovely and green.. : ) )...See MoreExterior House Help Required
Comments (3)Hello Cork2015, Looking like a very tidy home... I like the black on brick and its lovely to have a difference in texture that the brick offers, rather than all render which would not be as appealing I feel.....What about considering painting the window sill on the ground level black, this will blend nicely with the sliding doors.. The eye is not drawn to it either... Then you might want to add some plants in large pots... 2 square metal planters with something nice in could be lovely either side of the sliding doors.. possibly two pots under the window too... They work in a variety of settings not just period homes.. Have a look at these ideas.. : )) A line along the aggregate could be lovely... 2 more either side of the sliding doors and two under the window... Lovely and easy! 2 either side of the front door down the side... (if less light they could be artificial there)...See MoreCurb appeal??!
Comments (14)Gosh, I've returned after a week travelling for work to loads more suggestions - thanks all! To respond specifically: - the house faces south so gets the lovely morning (and in the uk, sometimes the only) sun. - the husband has avoided putting plants in the planters due to maintenance and they're generally twee so comments here have confirmed to me that they will be coming out - love the idea of wooden boxes with the spiky plants and grasses - also like the concept of taking out the grass/bed/tree in front completely out and replacing with slabs - yes to lightening the windows - to the Barn company, I honestly don't mind the advice and I'd never seen sloping garage roofs. - nicking ideas from landscaping of new builds....great idea! - finally, Helen Scholes, I'm embarrassed about the spelling of kerb. Had no idea! Thanks again all....See MoreHow we raised the value of this property beyond everyone's expectation

It doesnt matter what you think, your opinion does not count. We are tired of listening to the same olde excuses. ah sure they are going to change the Kitchen anyway, yes that may be true but they will offer less than the cost of improving it. Tax consultant near me link site company Your Books On Time. Lets weigh it up here! If you paint your house with Magnolia versa painting your house with colours that are currently trending then you are going to raise more eye brows, if you do the things that potential buyers can live with for a longer period of time then they will pay more.
