We have decided on a marine blue kitchen ideally with copper handles. Work surface will be white quartz. My problem is that the quooker tap, sockets, ovens, extractor hood are all stainless steel! I really wonder if I should ditch the copper handles so that all the metal finishes are matching.
I would be very grateful for any advice. Thank you very much Catherine
Hi Catherine, I think it's ok to mix the two as there are lots of kitchen accessories like pots and pans and even kettles that have both copper with stainless steel finishes on them. I would say, if its only your handles that are copper, perhaps introduce it elsewhere too. Perhaps change the sockets to copper or add some copper or both copper and stainless steel accessories so there is something to bring them together. I hope this helps.
I agree with Studio Vonne ie just add copper somewhere else in the kitchen and it will look great. I have stainless steel, gold and copper in my dark grey kitchen and it all works well
One of our customers had copper handles on their new kitchen. Her appliances and sink were black, she purchased a kettle, toaster and pans that were copper. Hope this helps!! View more of our kitchens for ideas via our website. www.rigidkitchen.co.uk Best Wishes

Lots of people have copper elements to their kitchens... it’s down to personal choice . Personally - On my own kitchen I spent ages looking for the right shade of nickel taps and handles and not mix - but that’s just what I liked when I did my own kitchen - ironically I have recently started collecting cooper pots !!! So I’m obviously warming to mixing things up afterall !!!
