Black or grey bi folds with grey kitchen

Need to decide on colour of bifolds, initially was going to go for anthracite but I'm worried it won’t look right from the outside as upstairs windows are black.

Considering black but also not sure if this will go on inside of kitchen. Going for graphite grey gloss kitchen with off White worktops.

having 5 Bi-Folds, not an option to go white on the inside as don’t want to see 2 different colours when folded back.

Having french doors put in at same time so will go same colour with them so whatever option we choose there will be consistency on bottom floor at least.

any thoughts and advice?

I think it's rare to you will be outside looking at your house so don't focus on inside, but everyday you will be inside so make sure that looks good.

We are having graphite Matt wooden units, anthracite sliding doors. From outside, all other side windows and upstairs are white

You said 5 bifolds, 5 sets or a 5 panel bifold? How wide is that?

Thank you Patricia. I just got back from tile store and saw this display which i think is beautiful - it's an italian marble so there will be inconsistencies which I think is actually what I love about it. I would imagine a cream colour kitchen but possibly with a light grey island, or would it be better to stay all the same?

A soft mossy or grey green would be my first impulse but Sarah's dark blue looks good. It depends on your kitchen ware. White porcelains will pop with the blue and earthy stoneware will go more with the soft greens. I'd add a shelf to extend from the cabinet across the tile and a pot rack or hooks over the stove.

Gorgeous sofas! Would you consider using the Thibaut print suggested by Judy G Designs in a soft fold Roman shade? You don't say how many windows there are in the room. But Straight edge on the bottom, outside mount, clean and simple. The print has enough activity.

I might consider one of the top extractors instead as it will be easier to fit a glass slashback up to a straight extractor. Personally I think the chrome looks more expensive.

Can you have 2 different colours: black outside and grey inside. Is this an option? Would it show out too much when folded together or would it give the effect of a shadow?

problem we have is one side would show the black when folded back and one would show the grey, not too sure how that would look and if we are just better to have the same colour inside and out

I would put black in. Goes with everything. I just put black in my kitchen and I love them.

They will go well with your colour scheme. personally having different colour windows upstairs and downstairs would irritate me (so much that I changed all my upstairs windows to black to match).

Not at all, there is so much glass and so little frame. They look very modern. Black frames go with any interior colour too.

Be careful with anthracite as it can have a bit of a blue Tint.

Thank you, we only get light in morning so concerned the black would make it dark, however I guess it wouldn’t be all that much darker than anthracite. Black does look classy and at least it will go well still if in years to come we change kitchen again

Look at plenty of samples. Grey and grey can only go together if they are a few shades apart and there is little to no green/blue/brown in them. My vote goes to black.

I like black. Whenever I see images of black doors and windows I think it looks stunning.

If your kitchen is dark grey and your appliances are black, then the black will match the kitchen. From outside ideally you want all the windows to match. Inside the kitchen, since you'll have the glass, the black won't be overwhelming.
