bathroom color - help please

I’ve have now finished our bathroom but I feel it is a bit plain. Would you a)paint the walls blue color and if so which exactly shade/ color would it be b) change blinds to color matching the flooring or sink c) accessorize with plants and objects d) leave as is?

Struggling to see if there is room for improvement or I shouldn’t overdo this. Thanks for your suggestions in advance!

Nice bathroom. I think all it needs is a green blind to tie it together.

Lovely as is. Spray paint the picture frames (and yellow pot) the same color as the vanity (or steel grey).

Not too keen on the turquoise/teal accents, would pick a pale mossy green, sandy beige or medium grey.

My understanding: You didn't find any problem functionally, but you feel this looks old & need some brightness & change in this. My advise: 1). Remove towel rod, shift it next to tub or behind closet & have full length mirror, which will make your space double & reflect natural light as well thus makes the space more bright. 2). Get couple of plants (small plants or bush type or creepers which doesn't occupy much space on floor but grows vertically). 3). Get some artifacts made from bright colored glass, can flower vase or wall hangings or glass tiles etc, these can be of yellow or Bright Orange color these are to be hung on walls opp to mirror or pasted(3M tape both side glued) if you are using tiles. 4). Get a mat of same color as artifacts & place between tub & closet. these all are easily done by yourself. OR if you can afford to then replace only green tiles & floor tiles if you wish to OR all tiles.

If you are using an installer they should be able to give you more tips on the best layout. Light coloured or white tiles will make the space feel bigger, maybe adding a line or border of another colour to add interest. Hi Lovely, I'm loving the tiles in your bathroom and your floor tiles! So I'm with you on this one, go with your gut instinct and paint the walls blue. I suggest something along the lines of Stiffkey Blue, Oval Room Blue or Stone Blue - Farrow and Ball. Make sure you select Modern Emulsion which is designed for bathrooms and kitchen. I see there is dark blue, teals and a bit of green in your bathroom, I suggest you pick whatever works best with your tiles as they are the permanent fixture accessories don't have to be the exact matching shade as that blue.

If you are painting the walls dark blue I would leave the blind as is because it has nice subtle detail and you don't want to add too much in such a small space. In terms of the accessories, I would group the plants together as well as any objects and place them in different corners. Sink area looks fine, again I wouldn't want to clutter that area. I would suggest replacing the mirror to something more modern and inline with your style.

I think a blind is all thats required, a blue one to match the basin. If you wanted to paint the walls and pale grey would work well but i like it white.

It is perfect in my eyes. I love teal accessories and have them in my bathroom. Love the floor and the vanity unit. Maybe a bigger plant on the shelf on that left hand corner above the bath but not essential. Lovely.

I agree about a new blind in blue and white. Maybe a floral or toile? Otherwise it’s a lovely room!

The bathroom is lovely as it, but maybe it could be lovely as well if you add a neutral colour on the wall back to the sink. For example, why not in the same colour than the drawers of the sink ?

Otherwise, this room is lovely !

What a lovely bathroom. A paint colour would bring some depth to the room. I agree with Elisa, it can be a neutral colour. A soft grey in a cool tone. A coloured blind would be lovely too. It might be nice to also consider a more muted colour. It's sometimes nice not to be too matchy matchy.

And definitely plants, plants, plants!!!

Hey! Bathroom is looking great. Personally I would either change the blind to match the basin or a few potted plants above the toilet. Would tie it all in nicely!
