we are trying to seek advice on if internal sliding doors will work in this space our table would be quite on top of the doors ??but the flatscreen TV in the living room end is so noisy as the sound travels up to table end .any ideas please need some peace and quiet

Hi All, Apologies if this has been done to death but I currently have a very dark dining room due to an extension that has been built to the rear of it. The kitchen has relatively more light so I was hoping to borrow some light from the kitchen. I am a bit nervous about fully bringing down the wall between the kitchen and dining room as I would like to preserve the entity of both rooms if that makes any sense. Question is any ideas or photos of the below ideas that can help me decide between the options I am looking into: (a) knock down wall fully (b) knock down half the wall to create an arch (c) add a sliding door between dining and kitchen? I currently have a third floor apartment. Inside my bedroom there is a bathroom ensuite. My bedroom door is a 30 minute Fire Door although I am not sure if the bathroon ensuite within my bedroom is a fire door or is required to be. To improve swing space I was considering removing the ensuite door and replacing with a sliding barn door but would only consider this if the ensuite does not require a fire door. Appreciate any advice.
