What if you did something like this from Lantern & Scroll (obviously in a darker finish). Or just email them and ask their advice. They are awesome to work with!

I am putting in a new kitchen in a large open plan room. I wI'll have an island that is 2.4 X 1.1 and will be moles breath colour from farrow and ball and a grey quartz worktop. I am wondering what type of pendant lighting to put over island. I intend to have three pendants but cannot decide what will work. Thanks

I need to tile a couple of walls in my bathroom which in the original design were meant to be painted. The painted walls would look better, but it's not possible now. So is there any tips on how to make a tiled wall look more like a painted one. I was thinking perhaps by using large matt tiles with grouting of the same colour? The colour is white for the tiles.

my kitchen is at the back and gets all day sun. the living room is at the front next to the kitchen so it never gets the sun .i am trying to bring sunshine through the kitchen to the living without making it completely open plan. its a two story house. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
