I might consider one of the top extractors instead as it will be easier to fit a glass slashback up to a straight extractor. Personally I think the chrome looks more expensive.

I would love some advice on finalizing a choice for island pendant lighting. My kitchen has 8 foot ceilings and the island will be 4'x6'. My husband is 6'1" so I want to make sure lighting isn't too low for his sight line but also to not have fixture too tall that it looks strange hugging the ceiling too closely. I like the seeded glass look and brushed nickel finish as it will coordinate with the glass front cabinet in wet bar area. I also prefer rod vs. chain or cord hanger. This light is 12.5" wide x 11.25" high. Would have a little longer drop from ceiling. I think I would do 2 instead of 3?? This light is 10.5" wide x 15.75" high. It would only have a 6" drop from ceiling so don't know if that is too big and too close to ceiling. Maybe do just 2 or possibly 3?? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, the fire is actually a fake/electric stove... that we never use...

Any one have any ideas for extractor fan piping ideas than can be seen in the open ? As I’ve too much space between my cabinets and ceiling of my kitchen can’t cover it up Not a long distance solid black 4” pipe or spiral ducting? Just need a few 45’ bends
