Why not do both? We have several styles of Roman Shades at The Shade Store! I'd consider inside mounting our Flat Roman and flanking each window with stationary panels in our Ripple Fold Drapery. Curve our decorative drapery rods to the contour of the walls. I'd suggest the stationary panels to cover from just under the crown moulding down to the floor, this will add height and drama to the room. Hi @aiexandrina, thanks for your reply. The pebble dash in the photo is actually falling off the back of the house, so we needed a full redoing. The acrylic render finish is guaranteed for 20 years, so won't need to be painted until then. We were considering grey and perhaps sandstone colours in keeping with the traditional look.

Ic am putting in a new kitchen after putting in a new floor and insulating the roof, floor and walls. I have put in new windows and back door. I am putting in an island and a circular table and chairs I already have.

Hi, We’re changing windows and fascias/soffets in an upcoming renovation. We’re also taking out the cement shingles on the second floor and insulating behind and replacing with horizontal cedar wood. Really liking grey windows but cannot decide what grey, anthracite or a lighter grey? Do I get matching fascias etc? Should I paint the cedar wood a colour or just stain it? Will I get longer out of it if we paint? Any advise welcome 🙏
