cornforth white kitchen cabinets?
Comments (5)Fads come and go. Pick what you love, not what is in style. Make your home yours. Take samples to your home of all the materials you think your may like, cover colors that you are not going to keep with some white paper and live with the samples for a few days. The lighting in your home and the other colors that you have in your kitchen and in the adjoining rooms will guide your selection. I have done this often and every time I walk into a room with samples I find myself drawn to one or another consistantly and the decision is made based on what feels good to me....See MoreFloor plan kitchen/living area
Comments (0)We have just bought a house and the renovation plans are coming together nicely, but the kitchen and sitting room area have me stumped! I love modern, open plan design, so I want to join the both areas to create a big family friendly space. The balcony is a fantastic feature of the house, so I'm thinking bifold doors the length of the kitchen to let in light and join the indoor & outdoor space. But that leaves very little options as far as I can see for placement of the kitchen cabinets. I have attached the floor plan of the relevant level of the house. Can anyone give me some brilliant ideas?...See MoreIs my kitchen design working?
Comments (32)Lovely, much better than the 3D plan. V glad you kept your patterned floor tiles, I really like them. It's all come together very attractively. The only thing I'd change and this is just because I'm a colour freak is the pendants - I'd probably have made those red and orange or something. But congrats really, it looks great....See MoreHow should I modernize this kitchen without spending a lot?
Comments (0)In a year or two, we would like to renovate the kitchen/dining/living areas so I do not want to put a lot of money into the space right now... However, until that reno time comes, I would like to make a few small changes that will help modernize the space and brighten it up a bit I'm torn on what to do in this kitchen... I was thinking about staining the cabinets darker, painting the back splash tiles white & painting the walls... however... I'm a complete newbie and I'm not confident in my decisions at all. Few things to note, that table will not be there - I'm planning on getting a high, thin bar table (wood and steel) that will go above the radiator w/ 2 bar stools. I really like dark rustic & industrial design. I also don't plan on changing the flooring until reno day so I'll have to work around that as well. Any advice would be much appreciated :) Thank you!...See MoreUser
