Hello and thanks for your very kind compliment of our house where our every day is filled with the joy of living in a holiday-like tree-house. Sourcing the subject material was relatively easy, it's HDPE, but the details of installing the material to achieve all the requirements for a shower enclosure that complied with relevant building regulations was our real challenge. After around six months of material research, testing and several trials with different waterproofing and fixing systems we devised what you see in this image, also in other areas of the same house such as the laundry, ensuite, splashbacks and external wall cladding. We're very proud of this project, particularly the use of 100% recycled HDPE which, in this project, recycled around one-million milk bottle and was recognised by a 2014 national sustainability award as an 'innovation of the year'. Please feel free to contact us if you'd like assistance with design, sourcing materials, specification or detailing of your project.
