What is the exact paint color and color code of this garage?

What is the exact paint color and color code of this exterior color so I can use it for my home? How do you save this photo as a .jpg without it being truncated or having to imbed it in a website which is not what I want to do...just to save it like any other photo?

Phil,

We know it as Brads Brown. It was one of half a dozen browns we custom mixed and sampled on the wall for our client to find the right shade (We started with one of the browns in the roof tile). If you send a link to your painter or paint store they should be able to match it pretty close.

You will need someone more familiar with computers than I am for help with saving the photo in a different format.

Hi, I love Victorian houses especially ones with original features. Is there also a fireplace in the lounge? I don't necessarily think you need exactly the same on both rooms. I this if the flooring is the same then you can create two different moods. Like you say if one get more light and has a large bay window then you will automatically get a very different feel. I would say that out of the colours you mentioned I would be more inclined to go with the grey tones in the front room. These would tie in tonally with the navy in the dining room. I would also follow the same theme with woodwork and mouldings etc. Perhaps you could be brave and introduce a bright accent colour in the front room like a lovely bright yellow/mustard colour. This would add the warmth and work with the brighter aspect. You could include it on larger spaces such as a rug, cushions and blinds etc Hope this helps. Good luck with your move!

There are so many brands/colors it would be impossible to tell + lighting changes the look of paint. Your best bet is to bring home lots of color chips from different companies and narrow down, then bring home some sample paint pots and test them. If you are continuing the color in the same room and you don't quite get it exact, you can paint a wall to the corners and you usually can't see the change from one wall to the next (I have done this twice). If you are painting another room and just like the color of this room, you may only have to bring home chips.

Hi, looks a little more pea green on my monitor... I suggest perusing for paint color cards that look olive AND pea green, bring them home, and see how they look in your space! Behr Wheat Grass and Behr Wasabi might be a place to start?? (You can find those colors at any Home Depot!)
