Need help with my echeveria

I have an echeveria tolucensis and echeveria black prince that I've had since November. They were fine when they arrived but have not established a good root system still. I know they're etiolated and I'd started using a grow lamp on them a month back (they weren't etiolated when they came) but they also haven't been putting out new leaves but are losing their old ones. The tolucensis especially seems to suffer everytime I water it and pretty much overnight had a lot of leaves go yellowish eventhough I didn't give a lot of water. not sure what to do at this point, have just been letting them dry out for 3 weeks now but not seen any improvement. it's my first time with succulents so any help would be appreciated. I live in the UK and there's not a lot of sun or warmth at the moment.

I’m absolutely no expert but have had 3 succulents on the go for last three years, my only advice is barely water it - only a little bit every couple of weeks. A florist recently told me to simply mist them weekly and no watering, so I’ve been doing that since December and they still look good.

Keep them cool and dry till spring in as bright light as possible. Feed with a dilute (half stength) houseplant food from March till September, perhaps monthly. Let it dry out between feeds. If the compost is very wet, take them out and let them dry out on newspaper or similar. Hope this helps.

A soft mossy or grey green would be my first impulse but Sarah's dark blue looks good. It depends on your kitchen ware. White porcelains will pop with the blue and earthy stoneware will go more with the soft greens. I'd add a shelf to extend from the cabinet across the tile and a pot rack or hooks over the stove.

A niche would be a good way to add some drama without infringing on your circulation space. It doesn't have to be deep to be effective. You can do one simple vertical rectangle, and line the back with a mirror, or add some colour with paint, wallcovering or wood. It would be great if you could also add a recessed light fixture at the top. The attached images are perhaps too busy for your situation, but it gives you a good idea of what can be done. Good luck!
