Knocking wall for kitchen diner
Comments (6)To begin designing a kitchen you draw the entire space to scale on a computer or on paper. Then place your appliances sink table chairs etc on the floor plan. You do this to understand if your ideas can even work the way you envision them. I would recommend using a kitchen designer. Working by yourselves, the kitchen design would be limited by your experience and abilities, and starting the process in the wrong order does not bode well. After the kitchen is designed then have several contractors come to give you bids and their input. This will save their time and make the bids lower and more accurate. After you have potential floor plans and have thought things through, this is when advice from Houzzers can be helpful. When the job is not completely thought out advice on Houzz can be dangerous. You will be encouraged to make decisions also not thought out and coments will seem valid no matter who is making them....See MorePhoto wall help for stairs
Comments (24)I must say I find the tall ones , a bit disproportionate to the rest , try it with one third off, (the top sheets) and lets see . I would then align the middle tall one(now reduced) to the bottom of the one next to it ,then I would also reduce the distance between all the frames to about 4" in between. Even if the display is not the whole length of the stairs, as long as the distance at the bottom of the stairs is the same as the distance at the top of the stairs, it will work,...See MoreBedroom walls
Comments (3)Agreed. Grey and white is such a classic combination, your bedroom will look fresh and contemporary. I would recommend a grey with some warmth in it, such as Farrow&Ball Elephants Breath or Pavilion Gray. I would also add warmth to the room with some luxurious bedding and warm lighting....See MoreColour help needed for accent wall
Comments (8)You really don't have any color scheme going on in here. I do see a gold range so I worked around that. Here are some ideas of colors you could add . I'm not crazy about accent walls, but you do need to add color to at least one of your walls - be it intense or even just a tint of color: Sherwin Williams Jetstream Sherwin Williams Sprout Sherwin Williams Composed I also added in a white or off white (or you could do color) back splash over your stove and counters. Once you have some color then you can add window dressings. I suggest roman shades, which you can get in many patterns and colors. Then find some art work that compliments your new colors - check on art.com, Overstock.com or Wayfair.com....See More- 8 years ago
