i have to decide on the type of sliding aluminium doors to put in. There is 900euro difference between lift and slide or ordinary sliders. The entire double slider is approx 3.5M i.e approx 1.75M per door. Just one door sliding back on a fixed pane. Has anyone got advice for me? Is there so much of a difference to warrant the extra cost? The windows come with a 15 year guarantee. Thanks in advance for any advice, Anne

Hi everyone, Me and my boyfriend are looking at buying a new house with a north facing garden. On all the sides of the garden there are concrete walls which separate the property from its neighbors. Would this be something that would stop you from buying a house? Are there any tricks that i could use to maximize the light in the garden? The first ideas that come to mind are painting the concrete walls in a warm cream color for example, i could improvise and paint one wall with a softer orange or green color etc. I would greatly appreciate your advice and any suggestions.
