Comments (1)You could do a black paint trim over the wooden bits. It would go with the work tops. But not so much with the creamy doors; Or get all of the kitchen units spray painted white? I think if you try to match the floor with the wood of the units in the kitchen you may leave yourself open to a mismatch or even just an overload of wood. I didn't feel there was enough black there as the island top kind of took me by surprise on first seeing it. But could you remove that granite altogether and see how it looks then? Comments (0)I expect to run out of budget for my renovation and have to make some tough decisions including not being able to buy the Italian professional 120cm (47inch) range cooker of my dreams however a friend has kindly offered me her 100cm (39inch) range (it comes with her new home and she doesn't like it). I'm doing quartz countertops... I'm not sure whether to leave a 120cm/47inch gap in anticipation of in 5 years time buying that dream range cooker, leaving a 100cm/39inch gap and then moving the cupboards and counters further out when I buy the range later or to do something else.
