Is the carafe microwaveable?

I would like to microwave the water in the carafe and then use the press.

    Hi, Thanks for contacting Teaposy. It is usually safe to use the glass carafe (without the press) in the microwave, to just heat up the water. Since the construction is double walled, we recommend not to over use it in the microwave, such as to leave the water boiling in the microwave. Hope this helps to answer your question.
