Kitchen Colour Scheme Ideas

Calling experience professionals, I am just doing up my kitchen and just wondering if you a favourite tried and tested colour schemes for handpainted kitchen cabinetry. I'll offer one that I like.

1. Top Unit - Cornforth White (F&B)

2. Base Units - Charlstown Grey (F&B)with White Stone Worktop/ Wood Flooring.

I realise there are many factors at play here, I am open to all ideas, just wanted a check out a few ideas to that have worked well for others.

White goes with anything. We have a high gloss white handleless kitchen from Crown but the good thing is that our kitchen decor can always be updated. Walls can literally be painted any colour and it will go, same with wallpaper and even changing the worktops. If you want something this becoming in style, light grey kitchens are becoming an extremely popular alternative to white. We have hints of light grey in our kitchen (Cornice and end panels to frame it)

Paint the wood floor with a flooring paint. If you want to be creative, you can create your own special design. I've had painted wood floors in a previous home and everyone loved them. If you get tired of it, paint them a different color! Saves doing rip out and better for the environment! My floors held up well. I was surprised. I even did a faux marble floor for fun.

I have ivory doors on my kitchen units. Butcher block in light colour browns counter work top and the floor is brown wood. I was wondering if you could advise me on what colour tiles for splash back. It's for full length of kitchen including under the hood expel air. Also should I tile surrounding the window? Delighted to get any ideas. Thank you.
