How do we get this oven door clean?

Perfectly good integrated oven looks a mess thanks to cleaning fluids that have seeped into it and left unsightly drips and stains down the inside of the glass. It looks to be a sealed unit (except for the holes in the top that let gunk in!), can't see screws anywhere. Suspect it is just a bad design that not much can be done about. But any suggestions appreciated, pix below.

No doubt you have tried this but just in case.... have you tried googling the oven make and model (if you know it) to either look for an online copy of the manual for manufacturer instructions or to find videos of other people removing and cleaning the door? Had a similar ish issue myself recently and google saved the day!

The instruction manual should tell you how to remove the door/glass. If it's totally sealed contact the manufacturer to point out the defect in design.

I am sorry to say you don't have room. You are only giving yourself 36" in front of the ovens and only 31" for passage on the opposite side and 42" is not enough between the island and the sink. You might find a smaller 30" wide x 48" moveable stainless steel prep table and placed in the opposite direction, it might work for additional counter surface but not give you the seating you would like.

With a sliding door, you can have each side different to match the style of the room it faces. Here are some ideas that, believe it or not, are done with sharpies on flat surfaces. I can envision a "fireplace" on the lounge side. On the dining room side, you could do the "double door" look, by putting half on the door, and half on the wall next to the door. So when the door is closed, it looks like a pair of doors, but when the door is slid open it looks like only one door (but it's the wall!) I added the 3rd picture just because I think it's so cool. I believe the only "real" thing in the room is the glass table/desk, and the filing cabinet.

This is the room... Believe me this is an old house and the refurb is on the way so as they say" look past what's there now" it's connected to a corridor and in front of it is the front if the house with porch and large windows. I would love to make this a front to back look but it is below a road at the back and just looks into a yard! The views are magnificent at the front as we over look the sea ! I'm so stool on ideas. To the right is the bathroom to the left we are building a utility room... My initial thoughts were that I would like it to be an extension of the hall.. Help!

Hi, I have the same problem in my hallway. If your budget is tight, just replacing the ceiling light with something like a starburst pendant with at least 6 bulbs would instantly improve the space. Also I would hang some bold and bright artwork on the walls and put a runner on the floor. Mirrors are also great for your space. I'm attaching a photo example. See how the eye is instantly drawn to the bold door? Also if you can repaint the wall, I would recommend you to use glossy finish paint so the light can bounce off the walls too. I had this problem on a previous oven door. We took it off, stripped it down, cleaned it and put it back on.
When we swapped the oven I firmly remember looking for an oven door that didn't have the same design.

I have found the manual and while it has a bit on cleaning there is nothing regards cleaning the inside of the glass.
