It's actually porcelain tile! It's from Artistic Tile and has a copper metallic finish.

@Jayme Hobbs .. thanks a mil Jayme I had been looking at a light grey colour but was afraid it might end up looking just whitewashed but I love the wall paint in the pic. @eagledzines.. I've attached the closeup of the counter, will look into changing the handles just to give the cabinets a lift. @Dannielle Lyn... I can help find this for you in the morning if you haven't already. If you have photoshop, you can grab the RGB value of the color and then plug it into easyrgb.com for the closest colors to that value. I use it all the time for my work. As someone else mentioned though, this can only be used as a guideline. With light casting and shadows, it would be hard to find the exact match

I must say I find the tall ones , a bit disproportionate to the rest , try it with one third off, (the top sheets) and lets see . I would then align the middle tall one(now reduced) to the bottom of the one next to it ,then I would also reduce the distance between all the frames to about 4" in between. Even if the display is not the whole length of the stairs, as long as the distance at the bottom of the stairs is the same as the distance at the top of the stairs, it will work,

is there ample space to put a furniture piece behind the table? a buffet? a tall cabinet in the corner? it will be difficult to adequately fill in the empty wall space with art alone...and a bit of storage is always good, and a surface for serving will come in handy. frame any art selections with clean, modern framing for a great effect in here...no mats. art is such a personal choice. look at art.com for some large scaled art prints that you love to look at, that will work with the palette, and will express your personality into your space. ;)
