Where do you get these grey coloured wall shingles....

Are they painted cedar? Are they the same as roof shingles or shakes. In the Uk, but could consider importing, thank you

I think your colors are restful so I would work with those and not pop a color. Maybe some interesting artwork that had some color in it, but I think you should go for a more elegant calm look. By the way, I like the chandelier you have with the fireplace. I think I would paint the lower part of your wall the same blue as is in the top part. Then I would add some black accents in glass and lamps. Curtains that have a sheen or gold thread would be nice.

Hi---ok, so you have some different styles going on, but I think it could come together-just needs some balance with color, pattern, and a touch of whimsy... :) The wallpaper (w/owl) is a good color to incorporate into the space-works well with the sectional, dining table, and floor. The art pulls the color palette together, is contemporary with organic/circular shapes---relates to both the sectional and table designs. Pillows-masculine and feminine balanced-color palette repeated. Check BM's Seattle Mist and Brushed Aluminum for wall color. Hope this is helpful. I'd hold off painting your table. Do all your painting first. I'm suggesting this because I think it helps to balance the room out to have some of that wood tone on the other side. A compromise would be to leave the top alone and paint everything else. Also. Get rid on any red accents, de-clutter the counter (so you can see your new backsplash and also get some pretty dishes in the blue/green color and put them in the cabinet with the glass doors. Also get new dish towels to hang on oven door handle. Please post some pics when you get done-excited!

Hi. Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area I think a select piece of art would really make the space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room....
