PLEASE NEED URGENT help choosing exterior house paint colours
Comments (8)I would go for a stone colour so not too dissimilar to what you've got. Little Greene does a good stone colour too but will work out a bit expensive. This is Oxford stone by farrow and ball. If you were doing the windows and front door then maybe an old white with door and windows in french grey...See MoreNeutral paints for whole house
Comments (2)Hello 9woodview, Have a look at Little Greene, They do a fantastic range of chalky paints for walls and woodwork.. Whitening is a gr8 one for ceilings and then there's a whole range of neutral colours to choose from that can add contrast, compliment and look bold and vivid at the same time.. Even with more subtle colours you can still create an impact. They have a few brighter colours that might not spring to mind with the word neutral! Think of the furnishings and accessories like mirrors etc that will also add to it.. Smaller pieces can add a lot to the look and feel of a room.. Once you have decided on a colour scheme.. I would suggest no more than 3 per room and if you want to create a flow between the house you could compliment the colours in slightly different ways or tones throughout.. Adding things to emphasise will help to lift lighter colours.. Consider golds, woods and lovely mirrors or pictures.. :)) http://www.littlegreene.com/paint/colour/neutral-paint...See MoreWhat color paint is in this photo?
Comments (2)There are so many brands/colors it would be impossible to tell + lighting changes the look of paint. Your best bet is to bring home lots of color chips from different companies and narrow down, then bring home some sample paint pots and test them. If you are continuing the color in the same room and you don't quite get it exact, you can paint a wall to the corners and you usually can't see the change from one wall to the next (I have done this twice). If you are painting another room and just like the color of this room, you may only have to bring home chips....See MoreWhat outdoor paint colours match cream Windows?
