This garden was challenging, a steep sloping site and harsh coastal winds.
We decided to level out the ground from the house, to allow for a patio and lawn. The steep slope to the ocean was planted with hardy ground cover plants e.g Cotoneaster.
We carefully chose more colourful planting to border the lawn, that could also withstand the strong coastal winds e.g. Nepeta, Lavender, Hebe.
The silver granite patio sits beautifully against the lush green lawn, and reflects the sunset.
