I am afraid blur will be limiting. I like the idea of gray, then in bring in the blue with accents. I would remove the lone cabinet on the left. Is it possible for you to build a pantry? A place to store the freezer is my goal with that. Where is your refrigerator? Just trying to get the lay of the land. A pantry would not be any deeper than the cabinet already there and with a sliding door you free up lots of space. Build it the width you need to fit the freezer and then about a 12 -18inch wide shelf space for boxed items, cereal etc. Leave enough room to fit your refrigerator next to it...about 30 -32 inches is needed. It looks like you have nearly 7 feet to play with. I know this pic is a washer/dryer, but just to give you the feel.

The sink in the island is the way to go here. As Lampert Dias mentioned above, your island can be larger than drawn. I prefer the sink and the breakfast bar at the same height as pictured above, but some people like to step the bar side up to protect it from the sink. It is an option. You can put the pantry and refrigerator on either side of the wall or even split them up and flank the wall as long as the refrigerator door can open. I would take the opportunity for more storage or display and put a cabinet on the wall behind the breakfast bar. Consider using a shallower cabinet there like 17" deep. It could be like a "china" cabinet display piece or more pantry storage if needed.

No, ask away :-) I'm not a pro though, just kind of passionate about design and interiors and all that :-) Great cabinet. I'm really not opposed to mixing metals. You'll get a more eclectic mix. It is the result of going with what you love and not with what you think goes with something else. And that will give your interior your own personal style. Matter of taste. Some people really don't like it. Others do :-) Go for a fairly large coffee table. I would think at least 100 cm wide. Tape (news) paper together to the size of the coffee table you like and lay that on the floor. It will give you an idea about the scale in your room. You need it to be easily reachable from the sofas, since you have these high armrests. And your room can take a large table. If you can't find a large one you like, you can also think about putting together 4 smaller square ones for example. The one with the metal base (I took two from the Soul Lifestyle site) is on the smallish side. The black one is larger. Round fits nicely with the shape of your sofas. Not sure if I mocked up the sizes correctly, but I think the lovely side table is too small. The lamp is about 70 cm tall (again, I guestimated the size), but it does look small on that low table. Paint the doors black matt and the fames cream add silver crome door furniture. Huge silver mirror above the covered radiator then add a runner of any colour you like and match it with the lamps and lighting. hey presto done.
