Long Mill Farm is located in rural Kent, England. At the rear of the farmhouse are 3 roundels, of which the white cowls can been seen on the photo. The roundels are traditional structures that were used to dry hops as part of the brewing process, most have now been converted to residential use. Some roundels are made of brick including the roof others are brick walls with timber roof, we have converted both on different commissions. They are super cool spaces internally and look great in the landscape of Kent and East Sussex!! On google search oast cowl or oast house for more info.
