what plants to put along the wall, in a place where the sun shines almost all year round?

You need to figure out how tall and wide you want them to grow, whether you want flowering or green, then go to your local garden center and ask for the options you have available for your area. Take some photos of the house with you so they can figure out what will compliment your wall/trim colors.
