We are building- our current layout is A (closets would have individual doors), some other options we are considering are B with closed closets, and C with offset entry. Which option would you choose if any, and any advice or other suggestions? For the bathroom we don't want a tub, and for the closet we just want max space.
Thanks-we are leaning towards B as well since the closets can be closed off. Didn't know if it was odd though since we could see the bathroom vanity from the bed- I doubt we would keep the bathroom door closed all the time.
None of the above? You do not want to pass THROUGH a closet space, no matter how fitted, every time you enter the master bath unless you absolutely must. If you are building, sit with your builder.....or the kitchen and bath designer, and re-work the plan. It is impossible to advise without seeing the remainder of the plan/adjacent areas on the same floor At the price of any new build ( per square foot..) , that seems an inadequate master bath, relative to closet space. Even minus actual dimensions.
I should have added dimensions. Each closet is roughly 8'x5', while the bath (7'x4.5' walk-in shower, 8' vanity, 7'x 4.5' toilet closet). Closet to bath is roughly the same size at the moment.
