Help! No fire place!

Can anyone share some tips on how best to style a front living room without a fire place or obvious focal point. If anyone has pictures that would be a great help. Desperately need some style inspiration. The room is functioning more as a tv snug than a reception room per se but at the same time it is the front room as you enter the house so want it looking presentable and stylish at the same time! Thanks!
