What colour to paint kitchen walls?

Please help me choose a paint colour! I have a cream high gloss kitchen with walnut counter tops and walnut venetian blinds. I have cream polished porcelain tiles on the floor and none on the walls. I just recently got the walls plastered and painted the room white as an undercoat. I had decided to paint the walls green and bought a tin of Dulux pure juke today and painted two walls and I absolutely hate it. It looks like a bathroom! Going to go to the paint shop first thing in the morning to get something else. Can anyone advise? I was going to go with cream but I'm afraid it's might be a cream overload...
