Ceiling height?

Hello,
We own a maxtrix system for our daughters room and are contemplating bunking them. Do you happen to know the ceiling height in the room shown? Before we go ahead and order the necessary parts, we'd like to get a feel for how tall it may look.

You need to measure all this. We have no idea what size your space is. If it's 8ft Ceiling, I would think you would wanna look for 96"h Panels, and hem them if necessary, you may need several panels in a row to achieve your purpose of covering the kitchen. Put the track on the ceiling for this purpose. Put the rods for the living room window a couple inches below the ceiling, hem the curtains. You could be using the same ceiling track here as well. Or the wire track from IKEA, etc. your call.

Hopefully, you have investigated your existing building conditions. Have you consulted with a structural engineer as to whether the third floor framing can hold the additional live load and existing rafters can handle the changes as well as increased insulation depth? Have you talked to the building department to determine whether the available floor area based on ceiling height meets zoning requirements? Is access doable with a stairwell from the 2nd floor that meets fire and building codes? These are just a few questions that need to be asked. You should consider consulting with an architect face to face to expedite feedback that would be pertinent to your situation rather than asking us to give advice at arm's length.

I think the sofa bed should double up as regular seating. The place is too small to have a guest bed around at all times. Use every item you have and if possible double functions (like stools as coffee tables and sofas as guest bed). Personal note: I used to have a 1p mattress with a cover on it next to my bed looking like a 'sideboard' (because my bed was sideways against the wall it wasn't a headboard). But 25m2 really was too small for any sofa to fit in. I just had one upholstered seat and guests would sit either on my bed or on a dining/folding chair. Another floorplan, with a sofa. I really like this one, because of the open living space. Some bottom-up blinds or a nice window foil halfway up should give some bedroom privacy, yet let in enough daylight (or a low cabinet/bookshelf, like in the second rendering). Add a bench in the 'bedroom' to enjoy a coffee in the morning sun. Bed sideways is not optimal, but it's give and take in a small home. Every open spot of floor adds to the sense of space.
