That way, when you are not drying you have plenty of space to move around and use the space for anything else?
You didn't give much info, so I am just guessing, it all depends on how you want to use the space exactly, when I visit potential customers I ask loads of questions to really get a feel of how they will use the space. Then when I feel I have understood as much as possible, I make suggestions.
But this is what came to mind reading your message.
Of course you could just build permanent racks too if you have tons of space, it's nicer to have them up always ready and waiting. So if you have them built bespoke, you can have anything you like really :)
