Hi, love these plantings! Is this lillypilly or ficus?

If it's Lillypilly can you tell me which kind? Is it better to buy a standard and let the head get bigger? Is it easy to control their size? I don't want the hedge to grow more than 2m. Thanks

the lower hedge is boxwood ( box ) and can be controlled easily.

The trees are pleached over 2m as the stem is approx. 180cm with a head of apprx 150cm high.

    Hi there,

Can you please tell me the name of the taller pleached trees?

    Thanks!

Looking at the leaf shape and colour, I think they are lillypillies.
We have three standards in our garden. Once established they are quite hardy and easy to grow. They don't become rampant or have invasive root systems like the ficus does. Simply clip to shape twice a year.
