Exposed bricks shower

Hello
I am hoping you will be able to give us some advice. We live in an old school house and are adding a shower in one of our bathrooms. The room is currently exposed bricks which we would like to keep like you did in this project. Would you be able to let us know how you sealed the bricks to make them waterproof?
