How does the Gardens 'Live Chat' this afternoon work, other that readers posting a series of questions?
Is it like an internet phone-in that we can listen to, or is it a misnomer? Please could Houzz offer further clarification when advertising events. Thanks.
Thanks for reaching out. The way our Live Chats work is we post the discussion where the forum for questions will take place a few days prior to when the chat begins. This way users can ask questions in advance which our experts can then answer in the allocated time.
As for the format, one of the Houzz team will moderate the questions and ask the pros these in turns. We post a question from the user as a comment, and the pro answers in the form of a comment. We use labels to keep track of the questions and answers e.g. for Q1), the pro will use the label A1).
I've attached a link to the Live Chat (scroll down to read the chat) and two screenshots of an example of us asking questions from users, and the pro answering. It is a Live Chat as our experts are answering questions live for a 30-45 minute period in this discussion, rather than a phone chat of sorts.
