This client opted for solid wood shelving instead of laminate or wire shelving. The pantry is 4'6" x 4'6". We want the angled wall to be wide enough to fit at least a 24" wide door, and the side walls need to be long enough to be deeper than the cabinetry, so that is how we arrive at 4'6". Another great feature is having two fluorescent lights just inside the door, one high and one low, to really light up the whole pantry. This pantry concept has been one of the most popular features with our clients, and it has been one of our most popular photos on Houzz.
