Hi, I think Elephant's Breath would be stunning. I used it before on a project in a open plan living and kitchen area in similar room position and it looks great. If you use the Elephant's Breath I would keep the cabinets one colour. The actual colour looks different at certain times of the day or under natural and artificial lighting. Sometimes it is more soft grey and dark and other times it's quite bright and light. I wouldn't go any darker than that. The tone is more in warm so no blue or cool grey. I would suggest that you mix the cabinet units with calacatta marble worktop and splashback which is a white marble. Or you can go the opposite way and use black marble like nero marquinia or dark granite. Natural wood would also look great. If you want another colour option I would also consider Old White No4. It's more into green tones and even warmer. I have a dining room project on my profile with the display cabinet painted in this colour. You can have a look there. Hope this helps. Karolina

What tiles would you recommend with Elephants breath units then?

Yes, go for it. Regarding your tiles, there are tonnes of options in terms of colours. But in terms of style I would go for gloss metro tiles. Faux marble like calacatta and sorrento would look great as well, or if your budget allows it go for the real deal meaning real natural marble. I'm not sure whether you meant tiles for splashback or flooring. If flooring I'd go for really dark rich brown wooden effect porcelain tiles. They are super easy to maintain and clean especially with kids around. You can also go the opposite way and have light flooring like sandstone, q-stone which is very pale but with texture and bit of colour. Some are more in grey and some are more in warmer tones. All of these will depend on the choice of your worktop material. Hope this helps a bit. K.
