Are those the ballard newport pendants? Are they the large size or the small?

Hi Melissa! The pendants were actually purchased from Menards. They are definitely similar to the ones from Ballard but not as pricey. Thanks for the question!

They are the larger size. This is polished nickel but I believe they also come in an Oil Rubbed Bronze finish as well.

Thanks for all the replies. I have the blind ordered so I cannot change this. However, if it were to be fitted to the outside frame of the window, it would be let down on top of the tap. I`m not planning on tiling, as we`ve recently repainted the kitchen. I am trying to attach some photos from this website to show examples of pelmets that may work. Is there a way to do this??

If you get a small flush mount fixture, it should be OK. Another solution would be to get a pendant fixture and swag the chain/cord over to the center of the island. I once had this problem in a client's dining room. We installed a chandelier centered over the table and used a ceiling medallion to hide the off-centered junction box. Does that make sense?

Hi there, to harmonize with the earthy and natural tones in your kitchen, you could consider Old White by Farrow & Ball, which in rooms with good natural lighting creates a soft grey finish or Cotswold by Neptune, a subtle grey. I would love some advice on finalizing a choice for island pendant lighting. My kitchen has 8 foot ceilings and the island will be 4'x6'. My husband is 6'1" so I want to make sure lighting isn't too low for his sight line but also to not have fixture too tall that it looks strange hugging the ceiling too closely. I like the seeded glass look and brushed nickel finish as it will coordinate with the glass front cabinet in wet bar area. I also prefer rod vs. chain or cord hanger. This light is 12.5" wide x 11.25" high. Would have a little longer drop from ceiling. I think I would do 2 instead of 3?? This light is 10.5" wide x 15.75" high. It would only have a 6" drop from ceiling so don't know if that is too big and too close to ceiling. Maybe do just 2 or possibly 3?? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
