“I have used Solicito and Son Landscape Contracting for several landscaping projects. Most recently for a new construction home. Joe and his team did everything from my circular driveway, pillars, and Belgium block to a beautiful, well designed blue stone patio and outdoor fireplace. They constructed an outdoor kitchen with built in appliances. They also planted dozens of trees, hundreds of plants and bushes, mulch, grass, and topsoil. We get compliments from every family member, friend, or neighbor that sees it. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and the service. Joe's crew was there on time, in uniform and very respectful of our living conditions during construction. The foreman and his crew were experienced, unbelievably hard working, and polite. They would leave the site every night in a clean and safe condition. They stayed on schedule and competed the job on time. Joe is very meticulous and will back up his work. If something wasn't done to his standards, he would do it over again until it was perfect. Prior to hiring him, we looked at several other homes that he worked on with every job as well done as the last. Beginning with a very difficult and technical remodeling of our front entrance masonry and driveway that required extensive approvals from town boards and the historical commission. The new approach to the house created a beautiful and elegant approach to the house and was further enhanced with abundant plantings and lighting. We also worked with LandForm partners to remodel, or rather completely rebuild our second story deck, which came out beautifully. We also hired the firm to create a masterplan and richly planted landscape for our vacation home. “We first interviewed Joe for our backyard renovation project in the late winter early spring. We knew from day one he was a gentleman and took all our thoughts and desires into our plan. We had two meetings before he went back and started to draw a master landscape plan. His plan was fully detailed and he sat with us for quiet some time in order to explain each aspect of the project, including color photos of the plant materials and pavers. “I represent a 414 unit condominium property having a fair amount of lawn and garden area for an urban location. We interviewed several Landscapers and the Board awarded the contract to Manzer's for their skills and expertise and experience with large properties. In one year they have made a major impact on the landscape, with plans for development of the plantings over the next two years. Chappy is easy to work with and all of the office staff and workers are professional, on time and on schedule. They are very responsive and handle special requests promptly. We are so pleased the Board contracted with Manzer's to renovate a garden seating area of approximately 500 square feet. The project involved excavation of old bluestone, salvaging what could be reused, leveling, waterproofing, reinstalling stone, pavers and belgian block borders, benches, game tables, lighting, irrigation and new plantings. The major work is completed with the irrigation and plantings to be completed in the spring. We were glad Tom was the foreman on the job - he is highly knowledgeable with an old school work ethic. We recommend you try Manzer's Landscape and Design. Our property is located on Central Park West in Manhattan.”
