“Highlands Home Services leader Shelby Baird did an excellent job on our bathroom project. The cost was on par with other quotes we received. Quality of work is outstanding. Shelby was always sure to maintain a clean workspace and keep our house free of debris during our renovation. Our project involved remodeling a bathroom in our house built in 1970. There were several challenges Shelby uncovered and overcame. Our project involved taking the bathroom walls, floor, and ceiling down to the studs., Shelby reworked plumbing, rerouted and modified electric, removed a very heavy bathtub, installed floor and wall tile, installed a new toilet, shower, and vanity. He painted walls, installed shower doors, put in all new plumbing and light fixtures, and all associated wooden trim. Shelby has a very broad skillset and was able to work through any problem he encountered. Additionally, Shelby is very polite and was respectful of our home. We would highly recommend Highlands Home Services for any type of renovation work needed in your home. The quality of Shelby's work is second to none.”

Joe and his crew finished a basement which also included adding a full bath. They upgraded a porch, kitchen and painted the entire interior. Joe is patient, a good listener and offers creative solutions to problem areas. He is knowledgeable about construction, pays attention to detail and is especially talented with finished carpentry work. The home sold the first month on the market and the buyer's agent said it was one of the best remodels he had seen.”

“Two months prior to my due date with our second child, a contractor we hired to rearrange our master bedroom walked off the job. We were left with half completed drywall, wires hanging from our ceiling, and a completely destroyed carpet. Seth and SDC came in and not only fixed the sub-par job the previous contractor had done, but exceeded all of our expectations. He is professional, courteous, and absolutely saved the day. Seth and SDC also converted the stairs in our 1942 cape cod from a dangerously steep angle. The end result was perfect. He followed plans to the utmost detail, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result! We are now considering adding an addition onto our home, and will not be contacting anyone but Seth and SDC. To find someone that is not only incredibly talented at what they do, but is also professional, timely, and kind is worth its wait in gold. We cannot recommend Seth or SDC enough!”

“Our experience with David Bauer Custom Homes was first class. They remodeled our kitchen and put on an addition to our home that included a sunroom with fireplace, an exercize room and a greatly enlarged master closet. Under the addition they put a basement which contains a man cave, a wine cellar and a lot of storage space. The company is professional and accommodating in its desire that the finished job be just what you want. Suggestions were made that enhanced the final outcome of our project. “Michaelson Homes recently completed a 3 floor addition to our home. This addition also featured a additional garage and was integrated into a new patio and pool area. We also used M.H. for an entire new kitchen including moving two walls and enlarging exterior windows. The complexity of the project ranged from matching up roof lines to managing a changing traffic flow both inside and outside of the home, Michaelson Homes did a masterful job. We interviewed several contractors and even more cabinet makers for the project and decided to consolidate all of our project needs with Marc Michaelson, we made a good decision. Marc ended up managing, or at least acting as our liaison with the pool company and the company doing the deck work...from a timing and integration perspective he did a great job. Our project ended up coming in on budget, on time, and exceeded our expectations. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, the work crew that was literally "living" with my family for 3 months could not have been more professional, more polite, and took pride in cleaning up their worksite, our home, every night. We have now used Michaelson Homes for 4 separate projects in 3 different homes over a 10 year period and we could not be more pleased. We are not looking to do any more projects any time soon, but if we ever do it will be with Michaelson Homes!”
