“We recently completed our 3rd large scale project with SF Design Build .... first a major remodel of our condo in 2008.... then a major seismic upgrade for our entire building in 2010...and now a complete exterior painting and new deck construction and maintenance completions for the entire building (a three story structure in NOPA). Basically they went over this entire huge building tooth and nail fixing and updating every inch. Our 87 year old wood construction building is now in near perfect condition. We keep returning to Rudy, Jessica and the SFDB team for the simple reason that they are honest, professional, thorough, budget-wise and conscious and have excellent follow up. The quality of the work by Samuel, Hugo, Ceasar, Eric and the others is excellent. These guys are real craftsmen and it shows. What a pleasure to see their finished work! All of the workers are company employees and have been with SFDB for all the years we have used the company. No day hires! We bid this work, as we did our other projects, and SFDB once again came in competitive. (they were not the cheapest but also held an advantage over "just" painting contractors because as a general contractor they have their own scaffolding. the other painters bid the work then had an "add on" for scaffolding that in some cases could add $5k to the cost.) they completed the work on budget. No gimmicks, add ons etc. during the work they found that some planking on one side of the building had been repaired poorly many years ago and had to be replaced. this added about 3 days to the job with some cost increase but they showed how it was necesary. One of the best things about SFDB is that there are no surprises. They work entirely through the project with no gaps or no show days. they clean up EVERY DAY and leave the work site as accessible as possible, respecting the owners living space. I would highly recommend SF Design Build. Like the PGA ads on television ... "These Guys are Good!...."”

“Amarant Design has made specular design changes to the interior of the homes. Amerant Design people have worked on many of the same homes we have. As a Heating and Air Conditioning company we come in after Amerant design has finished the remodel to set thermostats and register covers. The quality of Amerant Design's work and the home owner's respect for Amerant Designs people is remarkable. I have to say Amerant Designs changes to a home can be breath taking. We start our work first and see Amerant Designs work at the end. And the home owners are thrilled at how smoothly it all went. “Creation 7 build the master addition on our house. It is generally understood that having major remodeling done on your house, can be a frustrating process. It's noisy, messy, and usually, goes over budget. I can honestly say that almost none of these were true for our experience with Creation 7. The men were so respectful of our space. They cleaned up at the end of the day - no mess was ever left. The construction generally stayed within budget. These guys were a pleasure to be around also. They were funny and nice, but also respectful of our need for privacy. Also our completed addition! It's so gorgeous! Everything is in perfect working order. Their eye for detail and overall craftsmanship is amazing. I really can't say enough how great our en suite master bedroom is. It has transformed our house from an old boring space into our dream house. I highly, highly recommend Creation 7!”

“This was our first construction project. Cottage really helps make the ADU process accessible, approachable, and less intimidating. It’s easy to trust the Cottage team - you can feel the level of integrity and honest and high quality of work. Cottage made it easy, and for a competitive price. Building an ADU is not cheap, just like building a house in the Bay Area is not cheap. For building a custom stick-built ADU, the price was great. They are all very hardworking and responsive. Construction can be nerve racking but Cottage was always very calm, professional, friendly, approachable, and kept us in the loop. They made us feel good every step of the way. It’s been a pleasure and fun working with Cottage! I consider my contacts for Cottage to be like friends...really high quality people. It’s a breath of fresh air to work with a firm like Cottage compared one considers traditional design or general contractor companies. Cottage uses the latest technology and is just easy to talk to and work with - less intimidating than others we met with. They are very approachable, communicative and friendly.”
