We gave him the size and details and he quoted us within 5 mins. The blind was made and delivered within 2 days. He even fitted us in before starting a large job so we didn't have to wait. “I purchased vertical blinds from this Company and I am very impressed with the speed and quality of the product. I did my own exact measurements, which I double checked, of the two windows in my lounge and the blinds are a perfect fit, as the company allows a margin for fitting in the recess. They look beautiful now they are in situ, and I was spoilt for choice with the variation of whites and creams and patterns available. When choosing curtains, consider their function, whether for privacy, light blocking, or decor enhancement. Take into account the room’s style, choosing curtains that complement the overall decor in terms of colour, pattern, and fabric texture. Measure the window accurately to ensure the curtains are the right size and length, considering whether you prefer floor-length or sill-length curtains. Select curtain fabrics based on light-blocking abilities, durability, and ease of cleaning.
In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
