Jeffrey McMahon Design + Build
Architects in Philadelphia, PA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars13 July 2017
“I have worked with Jeff McMahon on many design/build projects. He is attuned to working with the topography and the sun when siting his houses. He consults closely with his clients when planning their modernist houses, and finds sustainable solutions for them. He listens to their needs and does as much as possible on paper and computer before breaking ground. When construction starts, Jeff and his crew are focused and efficient. The result is a track record of many striking and beautiful homes, as well as extremely happy homeowners. I can’t recommend Jeffrey McMahon Design + Build highly enough.”

“It was a pleasure to work with Kevin. His design for our master bath was creative and unique, but more importantly, he incorporated our style into his recommendations. Kevin is a perfectionist and this is reflected in everything he does. We highly recommend him.”

Princeton Design Collaborative
Architects in Philadelphia, PA
Average rating: 4 out of 5 stars2 October 2013
“We engaged Princeton Design Collaborative to provide design concepts for a small master bathroom addition. The current bathroom configuration was virtually unusable. The two concepts provided were cost effective for the client, and provided an aesthetically appealing design to the front of the home that matched the existing facade. The drawings were extremely complete and detailed as to make the permitting process with the township go smoothly. We look forward to working with John Conroy on future projects, and would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in architectural design concepts and drawings.”

“As new house owners, we left a condo living and decided to move into a house. We ultimately decided to purchase an older house and customize it to our tastes and needs. I had used Houzz.com to source some architects to help us out. We found Robert and a few others but it was Robert that accompanied me to house inspection for one and then also accompanied me to view the house we ended up purchasing. From start to finish, he was there. We utilized Houzz.com albums to collect photos and ideas to share so he could get a better sense of our needs and wants. He managed pretty much everything from the contractors to the purchasing of items. He also has a great eye for detail so when he conducted the final walk (we were traveling) and approved it, I didn't worry about him missing anything. As new home owners new to renovation, we did go over budget and in the end, we did have to omit some of the items/detailing that we wanted which was frustrating but Robert provided us alternatives so that we could discuss and decide. In the end, with the budget issue and not having the home 100% to what we wanted, we are still very happy with the project. People who have seen the home before are amazed at the results. We are very happy to have found Robert. As non-creative home owners who have never renovated a home, we would have never come up with some of the concepts he produced. He enabled us to customize this house enough that it meets our aesthetic and functional needs. Robert is very diligent and detailed. I think he may have been too detailed for us (ha) but as a result of me giving in to him, we have a stand out master bathroom. I view our home a great learning experience into the area of renovation. I now have Robert to use as a standard.”
Rasmussen / Su Architects
Architects in Philadelphia, PA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars15 March 2013
“We had a wonderful experience working with Rasmussen/Su on a kitchen renovation. Our home was built in 1879, and it had a cramped and dark kitchen. Kevin & Vivian really listened to what mattered to us (having a space that works for an active family and opens the kitchen up to the rest of the first floor) and they were able to incorporate those things into the design. They have experience with historic homes and local regulations and took care of the arduous permit process. They were there during construction when we ran into the unexpected things you discover in an old house. They also helped with the design details and decisions you have to make during a project. We now have an amazing space where everyone gathers to cook, do homework, and just be together.”
Gary Rosard Architect
Architects in Philadelphia, PA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars18 April 2013
“Gary helped us renovate the exterior of our home last year and we were thrilled with the results. Our house needed a serious makeover and Gary was able to completely transform and modernize our home while staying within our agreed upon budget. Not only does Gary have an amazing design sensibility, but he is also a pleasure to work with. He delivered plans on time, worked well with contractors and followed through. I highly recommend him!”
Kate Cleveland Architect
Architects in Philadelphia, PA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars2 May 2017
“Kate transformed our narrow dark kitchen into a sunny, functional beautiful space. We had previously been informed by another architect that the wall between our kitchen and dining room could not come down. After conducting a thorough inspection of the area, Kate concluded that it could be done. She is a professional, accessible and extremely talented architect that we highly recommend without hesitation!”
Swiatocha Architecture + Design
Architects in Philadelphia, PA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars22 February 2019
“We have worked with Adrienne on 2 projects and have been delighted by her professionalism. Over the past 2 years we have looked to get work done in our house 3 times. We have used Adrienne’s services twice out of 3 and can really tell the difference and the added value provided by her work over the 2 times she was involved VS not. Hiring Adrienne as your architect, you will have the confidence that you have someone planning for your space to live in, taking in consideration your lifestyle and taste. Adrienne has an eye for all the details that you (or your contractor, no matter how great) would never think of. She anticipates what will make you happy and makes practical and creative recommendations about it (from small things like the placement of a hook, of a plug , direction of your shower, or wider more structural aspects like the drawing of your cabinets, design of a shower, etc...) all these details make your everyday life much easier and they are worth every penny. Adrienne also set us right from the beginning with realistic expectations for our budget. While it costs more to use an architect's services, you’ll know everyday why it was better than not doing it and won’t regret it”
