We found Emmett through our builder after being let down by a previous architect. Emmett was professional and got everything done efficiently and quickly. There were no delays getting back to us with emails, and he explained everything about the process in detail as we went through it. Having used Emmett, I don't know how anyone could manage a project without that level of knowledge and support behind them. We did a full house renovation adding a significant extension to the back and side our our property and we also renovated the attic. We worked with Fingal Planning Consultants headed up by Emmett Tolan from the outset. We had a number of meetings onsite in advance of the build to agree planning requirements, design and the level of involvement required from Emmett and his team. Professional, decisive, authoritative and experienced are the best words I can use to describe Emmett. He developed an excellent relationship with our builders and there was a mutual respect for each others profession so when consensus needed to be reached on an issue it was never argumentative or problematic. We used FPC for the whole process of our Self Build. Knowing nothing about the planning/builing process etc it was great to get knowledgeable advice about every detail and Emmet was always available for a call. A very smooth process from beginning to end. Planning permission was granted at the first attempt. The tender process was very well managed and we ended up with a good number of quotes.
