This bedroom was completed after our design was selected by BATC / Special Spaces for their 2014 Design Competition to design a bedroom for four-year-old Eli. Our design focused on creating a fun room for this little boy with a love of all things with wheels (and Ninja Turtles!). The carpet was replaced with durable luxury vinyl planks that mimic wood. A loft bed was added along with a race car bed so that the room can grow with Eli. We incorporated racing stripes along with racing decals. A closet system was added to help keep Eli organized.

Carpets by Otto
Carpets by Otto created custom carpet sections for this enchanting children's playroom. Brown carpeting leads a pathway to the giant tree house as green "grass" carpet surrounds the rest of the area. Sky and clouds above and little flowers add to the final room space. Murals and photo by Kelly Brown of Art by Kelly.
Encircle Design and Build
A kids sleeping, play and creative space was added to a vacation house for the owners grandkids. Two large custom built doors enable the space to easily be closed off. The beds were built using off cuts from the deck project and wall cork boards were created from extra flooring.

This room is "The Grandkid's Room" for sleep overs and doubles as a play room. We designed the room around the existing yellow walls. Custom, cornice boxes over the windows mimic the pattern on the custom bedding at a larger scale. Adding bolster pillows as well as throw pillows on the bed allow the bed to be used as a lounge area as well.
