We undertook the complete refurbishment on this job. The old space had black light absorbing floor tiles with underfloor heating that never worked. Out came the run down tired traditional oak kitchen with peninsula deisgn and in came a German handleless two tone kitchen that included the much need island dining island the family craved. with nice touches of in-layed stone for the support leg of the table, to the accent table top return upstand. The tall units were moved to where the old doorway through to the utility room was and a new entrance formed further down the corridor really transformed this space into somewhere the whole family and friends could enjoy.
Not sure if this would work with a rustic style?
