Open concept dining room required replacement of all ceiling joists and flooring due to previous water intrusion. Addition of para-lam beam provided structural stability to enable greater flow between rooms. Elevating the floor next to the fireplace added functional space for a cocktail bar. Design considerations feature wrought iron chandelier, refinished ebony hardwood floor and neutral color palette.
