The Lofts at Moonlight Beach, Encinitas, California
The Lofts at Moonlight Beach is a mixed-use, work-live community along the North 101 corridor in Encinitas. The project was designed to create a community for individuals to live as well as to operate their own commercial establishments.
The 18 residences are designed as two-story loft type units over 13,500 square feet of commercial space, which opens onto pedestrian oriented plazas, finished with natural and local landscaping, fountains and enhanced natural paving. The owner of the residence can also be the owner of the shop below and have the residence connected directly to the shop.
Upper floors step back from the plaza providing private terraces and balconies for the residents. The units vary in size from one, two and three bedrooms. Each unit has at least one attached parking space in a private garage and one space in the basement below. There are a total of 18 units that range in size from 1,500 s.f. up to 2,500 s.f.. Several of the units have roof top decks with panoramic ocean views.
