The Dark Side
Wanting it all, and wanting it for less — this project
was a classic situation of catering to a client’s
elaborate and well-defined needs, alongside the
limitations of time, space, and budget.
Sound Sense worked with the client to deliver
a Dolby Atmos setup, a 188" Milan acoustically
transparent screen, a Panasonic projector, well
defined acoustics, and most importantly, maximised
seating to accommodate the client’s large family.
With space being a precious commodity, Sound
Sense converted a storeroom next to the theatre
into a standalone rack room. The end result was
a stunning theatre, loved by the client and a
project that adheres to CEDIA, HAA, ISP, and THX
standards — no small task considering an additional
mid-stream requirement was accommodating a
bar in the adjacent space with an open passage
between both rooms.
