Custom niches with a door were designed inside the elaborate range alcove to allow for more practical storage and give a unique touch to the hearth area. The patterned wall tile behind the range incorporates soft brown and green colors to the overall gray and taupe tones in the space in order to offset the patterns and create further dimensional texture.
